Standard version does NOT support parallel connection. Models with suffix P support up to 9 units in parallel for power expansion. Do NOT mix standard and P units in one parallel system. Their mechanical dimensions and weight are slightly different.
Yes, the whole SYP series accepts generator as AC backup source. Transfer time under GEN mode is 20ms, longer than 10ms of UPS mode. It works well for off-grid areas without utility grid.
